Whoever wanted to be in the contest signed up on a slip with their name and "Contest." Ronster announced who all was entering, and then the audience had a chance to turn in their choices for everyone, so we didn't get to pick our own songs and had to rely on the kindness of others. Ronster picked out of the songs chosen for everyone, and we found out what we were singing when we got onstage. Judges were anonymously placed in the audience, and votes were tallied afterwards based on performance and stage presence.
I owned that stage like it was my bitch.
And these contests are going to be a regular feature, so everyone start warming up.
