Okay. Suggestions: 1) Leave home and go to university in England. 2) Leave home and come to New Zealand. 3) Leave home and become a famous lawyer in HK. 4) Leave home and come to New Zealand. 5) Leave home and become a lawyer AND the CEO of a big-name publishing company. 6) Leave home and come to New Zealand, if only for a visit.
Guess what I want :D. But yea. I think you see the running trend in all six suggestions. (Although in the end, running away won't solve everything- but it's good enough for now, right?)
*glomps wildcatt* I feel your pain. Then I feel guilty about my own parents. And...I don't like how that sounds at all. My mom used to hit me, and though she stopped, five, seven years later, even if she's nice, I still find it hard to trust her.
And yes, leaving for uni is the ultimate escape. At least it was for me...(had been planning/praying to go abroad since was twelve; happiest day of life when actually could)
;_; *glomps back* What is with Asian parents and hitting their children, neh? I'm sorry about you finding it hard to trust your mom. I find it really sad that despite the fact that you're a few years older than me and that she stopped hitting you years ago, you still can't put it all behind you. She must've hurt you so much >< Though I hope it will work out for you in the future - because actually, my mom has also stopped hitting me recently and I really, really want to forgive her....because she's not as bad as I usually make her out to be.......and she's my mum >< So your story kinda scares me. *huggles

I don't know. And mom...it wasn't just the hitting, you know? Maybe, when i think about it, it wasn't the hitting even mostly, cos now I'm bigger and I can take it and I decided long ago that I'd hit back the next time...It was other stuff that makes me uneasy. And...she used to see-saw then too, first really nice awesome so that my friends told me I was so lucky...then the next day...yeah
