I was bored and had nothing to do in my attachment, figured I should do some translation! Can't do videos or magazines since it's very visible, but radio I can!! xD
Not sure how many NEWS fan there are here... Anyway, this is the trans of the latest K-chan NEWS radio with Shige, the novelist, as guest!!! \8D/

- Kei congratulated Shige for his novelist debut and advertised the novel again a bit
S: thank you for advertising for me so much
K: No no no… I’ve gotta do it somehow (couldn’t think up a good English word for the word kei used.. but somewhere along this feeling)
S: Somehow?? So it’s ‘somehow’??
K: Well, but you’ve been wanting to write right?
S: I wanted to, but it’s tough right?
- seems Shige has given a pilot-copy to the staff and Kei too
K: Ehh, can I have your sign over here?
S: Yes, please let me sign it
K: I’ve been with you for more than 10 years and this is the first time I asked for your signature
- Shige asked if Kei would buy the real one too, but I couldn’t get what Kei said, voices overlapping.. I suppose he will buy?
- and apparently it’s written somewhere in the book, saying JE’s first novelist is born, Kato Shigeaki
- Kei thinks it’s very cool and Shige says he’s very happy to be the first
K: You’ve made a history ne
S: It’s not something as cool as that, but… Well, well, well~~

K: I’m at page 18. It’s already so interesting!

K: I think that there are people that are bad with novels, but this is easy to be read!

- Then they talked about Shige changing his name to katakana (it was 成亮 before, it’s now シゲアキ)
- Apparently Kei is confused about how to write Shige’s name in J-web now, katakana? or kanji? Shige told him to use katakana already. xD
- So Shige changed his name so that it’s easy to read

~Theme: “What color is your mood now?”~
1st mail: Gray mood, because the day before she got parted from the boy she likes in class, then she saw the boy having fun chatting with another girl seating besides him. Also said that she was happy after going for Tegomasu concert, but this happened. She’s very down now.
- Shige commented saying that people listening may think it’s pink mood though, cuz it is sweet.
- Apparently in Kei’s school last time, the boys would first take their seats, then they will go out, then the girls will take their seats, and so they change their seats like that.
- And Shige said he likes that method. He said he can sit together with his buddies, but wouldn’t know where the girls would sit. And then he would peep through the window to find where she would sit, it has the youth feeling. xD
K: Have you sit besides the girl you like?
S: Yes, yes.
- Then Kei commented about writing it on eraser’s back, not sure, something about erasers. :3 But Shige said he’s not that type.
K: This is bad, we’re too engrossed in this conversation!
S: I’m the type that will become shy, won’t speak to her.
K: This is good, makes me feel nostalgic!
2nd mail: Orange-ish mood, reason: she’s using an electric stove now
- Bewildered, they commented that the girl probably said it’s orange because that’s the color of the electric stove 8DD
- Then shige commented on how it suddenly got cold, and Kei said he changed his sheets into the fluffy thick ones, and so did Shige
S: Mornings are so cold!! I cannot get up from the bed! It’s become that season!
K: Though it’s cold, we conserve electricity like this and try to balance it out ne.
3rd mail: Pink mood, has been spending a lot of time with the guy she likes lately, chatting and stuff, and is thinking of confessing to him at the closing ceremony though she’s nervous, and it’s her first confession!
S: Isn’t the closing ceremony very soon?
K: Yea.. Why is everything about love recently?
S: It’s because Christmas is near, so it’s again the love mode
K: It’s a good season ne!
K: Oooh, a confession, nice nice! Do it! (all the while sounding like a mother-hen XD)
S: It’s a cheap comment, Koyama-san!

5th mail: Sea color mood, she’s going for Guam for school trip, needs to wake up at 4.30am, but is doing her best to stay awake because she wants to listen to Shigeaki’s voice

- So they talk about Guam and how the girl wouldn’t have time to sleep on the plane later on. And they’re shocked that the school trip is to Guam.
- Shige’s first overseas trip was Guam, and then Kei started reminiscing about Guam but Shige cut him off saying he didn’t remember about it already~ 8DD
- Then they felt like going after talking about it, and

- Then they talked a bit on how it’s been a long time since the last live broadcast, and even though it is broadcasting now they’re talking like they are in their own changing rooms, xD

6th mail: Pink mood, listening to KoyaShige made her cheeks turn pink and feel like she’d want a kiss
K: Ooh! Kato-san, would you give her?

S: I, too, just now met Matsuko-san and she asked for my mail address.
