For fans of Nicholas Tse and those who like the inserted song in the movie 2002...

A good friend of mine introduced me to Nicholas Tse's old movie named 2002. At first, I was afraid to watch it because it involves ghosts *blushes* (Yes, I am VERY afraid of ghosts.). But it was't scary at all. -_- *lol* I really like the song Let Me Die. Actually, I ( Read more... )

Yeah, 2002 wasn't scary at all. Hehe. Pretty entertaining with Stephen Fung and Sam Lee though i think that Gen-X Cops with Nic, Stephen, and Sam was better and more entertaining. Anyway, yeah, i believe Nic's songs are pretty hard to find. I've been a long time fan so i own most of his albums including the Me album which has Let Me Die. There are actually two different Cantonese versions for that song: 啟示錄 and 完美啟示錄. You can find all 3 versions on Me. Nic also has another song which he sings in English called Without Me. If i remember correctly, that song is also in 2002. I remember it coming on during this scene with Nic and this girl he liked, played by Danielle Graham, in the movie. Let Me Die comes on at the end or something right? I forget if the English version came on or if it was the Cantonese version.

I am surprised that Nic's songs are pretty hard to find on the Internet... I mean... isn't he very popular (even after his scandal and Cecilia's)?

Yes, Let Me Die comes on at the end... during the battle between the Water Ghost and Nicholas if I remember correctly. It was the English version.

How come there are two different Cantonese versions? Are the lyrics or music different from each other? I wonder if the lyrics from the English version have the same meaning as the ones from the Cantonese version.

Oh thanks for reminding me about Without Me. I just listened to it on youtube. I don't know why I forgot it even though it's a nice song. ^^ The song comes on during the scene where Nicholas is running away from Danielle and "disappearing" in the elevator.

I was a fan of Nicholas Tse a looong time ago when I watched his drama Aiming High. He was only 18 years ago that time. o_O Ten years have passed by... wow.

Yeah, Nic is pretty popular. At least that's what i gather. I don't normally search for his music online since i tend to buy his albums but i've always gotten the impression that it's hard to find his music. Then again, i think it's hard in general to find stuff from HK artists, unless maybe you find someone who rips his/her cd for you ( ... )

Yes, Nic was the main character in Aiming High (click to read the sypnosis). I don't remember if his acting was good or bad. I was only 12 years old when I watched it so I guess I loved him in the drama for his cute looks? *lol*

Nicola Cheung (yes, they have a very similar name...) played his love interest. I don't know what she is doing right now. It seems she has left the entertainment or something like that. Anyway, I liked the character she played in Aiming High ( ... )
