This past Saturday, I spent the entire day in awe of people that I love, because the way they express their love in return is both humbling and splendid. The occasion was my induction into the Order of the Laurel. (Informally, we have decided that my discipline is "enabling".) It is a beautiful and strange thing to have so much happy attention
