That is the absolute one of the best feelings in the world. knowing that school is done for the summer. i am offically a sophmore in college! WOOT! Weird huh

Summer is indeed a great time of year! I'm so glad it's almost here!! You are lucky you are out of school already - but i'm almost there too.
I wish so much, that Papa had lived to see me have this experience... or that I could have done it earlier at a time when he was still alive.... just living in this culture is giving me so much insight into him and the way he was. His humor of course was all his own but, his general sternness and strictness, that 'seriousness' - it's all part of the culture. I almost feel closer to him now, seeing the roots...
I especially wish I'd learned German earlier to be able to say something to him in Deutsch, I'm sure he'd get a kick out of it :)
Ah the hammock, I can't wait to try it! Glad your'e still able to appreciate the little things in life drea, in all the busyness and chaos of life God does provide us with peace is we just stop and see it. It's those little things! Aren't they wonderful?

the guy we saw Nick Swardson is a famous actor too! He was in Blades of Glory with Will Farrell Grammas Boy and something else too i forgot... it was soo funny! we could not stop laughing!
Yes - there must be time for quiet to compose ourselves and our thoughts - can I have more of this??? Just wanted to also say - God doesn't make anyone die - please remember this - we all encounter circumstances in life that we are a 'victim' to, so to speak - our ohoices and consequently the choices of others affects us and our quality/quantity of life. 'our time' has an impact from/on this - and on others to see and learn as well. That is why we need to touch peoples lives in positive ways - and live our lives always positive -in every way. hope this makes sense - love ya! Mom
