However, being human means that I occasionally do make (*ahem*) mistakes.

I made a mistake last night in forgetting that my friends are human, too--and that they are my friends, no matter what stupidity I may thrust at them in the course of daily Life

Well, I'd thought it was a lot worse than it actually was. But then, if it wasn't for jumping to conclusions I probably wouldn't get enough exercise... ^_^

I'm glad the situation is at least a bit resolved. I figured if she was as good a friend as you said she was, she'd get her head around it :).

I believe that it is now fully resolved, and that our friendship is stronger for it.
Not saying she understands it all, but she does accept--and that was all I was asking for to begin with. :)
