So you know in the Proclaimers song 500 Miles when they say "and if Ah haver/Yeah, Ah know Ah'm gunna be, Ah'm gunna be the man who's haverin' tae yoo,"?

I never knew what "haver" meant. I've been looking up Scottish names for my puppy, and I came across a list of common Scots words. "Haver" means to talk nonsense.

Now you know.

My dad's friend Jon has a female lab named Spirit. They also have a male Golden Retriever named Copper. Spirit had PUPPIES about a month ago, and Jon is giving them away. Dad told me this afternoon.
