Sounds awesome! I'm glad you had fun. The women are really great, the ones that I have met. So, it wasn't just a collection of old women, huh?

Well, they were older than me, except for on woman, who was named Cherise? (or not, dang it I had it.) She knows you, her husbands name is Scott, and she is a Bio-Chemist, she teaches at IV Tech...help me out here. Gayle was really sweet too. She is doing some work with testing, I need to ask her about it.

she's seriously the best. cool story how melissa and i met them -- melissa ran into cynthia in the bathroom at church after an event called "married night live" that happens quarterly. the next weekend, or close to that, scott and i went (separately) to a men's retreat, started talking, talked for three hours. then a couple weeks after that, melissa and i started attending a new home group for married couples, and guess who shows up? scott and cynthia! how weird is that!

anyway, i'm glad you met cynthia. she's one of the most honest people i've ever met, and her honesty doesn't diminish her faith. when life gives her lemons, she cries, and hurts, and trusts God with everything in her that He'll work it out. she doesn't try to make fake lemonade.

When a church stops feeling like a builidng with people and more like a family you want to see every week, that's when you know it's home. It sounds like you have the beginnings of that.
