Another one bites the dust
Lost another pound. Down to 203 which I was surprised, but delighted, to see on the scales yesterday. I thought I was going to be stuck at a lose of 28lbs forever, which wouldn't be a bad thing considering what I started at. Portion Control
Maybe I should turn this into a diet blog... Cause I have lost 28 lbs so far by restructuring my eating habits. SQUEEE!!! Seriously, started at 232, about 2-3 months ago, and weighed myself this morning and it said 205. I'm 4 realz happy. So is my partner. But I do need to add a new user pic cause I'm so fat in the face in the one I'm using now. -
It's been awhile
I suck at posting to LJ. But like I said, it's just for me any way. I got my rejection notice for the Virginia Artist 2007 (formally known as Bay Days Art) show on Monday. I was bummed for sure as I had a hunch I would get in but I haven't been crying my eyes out or anything. I guess I put too much importance on getting my art validated. Oh well, ( Read more... ) -
To tape or not to tape
That is the question. After I got my first two rolls of Holga film back from the lab, I noticed that weird triangle of light in the upper right corner from not taping the two small holes above the shutter that appear when you take the 4x6 mask out. I thought they were annoying for the most part so I taped the holes before I put in the 3rd roll. I ( Read more... ) -
Still loving my Holga
I'm a little miffed at the moment. Turned in a roll of Holga film that I shot over the weekend to the local lab that printed the first two rolls in a day but something is wrong with their machine so my measly 12 shots will not be ready until Wednesday at 4. I'm in love
I know it's been a while but I really don't care because nobody reads this anyway. I think, no, I know I'm in love. I just got my first color rolls of Holga film back from the lab and I must say I think I've found my niche. I scanned in half of 2 rolls of 12 so I think that's pretty good considering I forgot to tape the two holes after removing the ( Read more... ) -
The trip
So, awhile back Joe and I decided to take a trip to Roanoke, VA to check out a car he was interested in buying.
