It is cool! I sure hope it catches on all over the place.
Me, I live in the suburbs (Scarborough). Sadly, I'm still in my parent's basement, but that is all about to change! My good friend crimsonsketch has given me the kick in the pants I much needed to get my life back on track. I'm probably about 8 years past due, but better late than never. So, I'm actively apartment hunting in the cool parts of downtown right now.
P.S. Nice use of he pseudo-word 'eh'. I would berate you for the stereotype, but I'm pretty sure I do use it fairly regularly.
Dude 2 of my best friends in the world are Canuckle-heads, brothers from Toronto- Oakville Known both for more than 20 years, Grant and Blaine. Grant has adopted a lot of Southern colloquialisms (stuff he's ribbed me about for years) and when I'm around them I'm always ribbing them about 'eh', 'Canuckistan', 'take off 'hoser' etc.!!!
Good luck on that apt. search-I remember my first apt., it was so liberating....
