yeah. was she on a sandbar? thats where bull sharks like to hang and hunt. shes lucky it just bit her hand. in the gulf, one teen lost his leg, another girl was killed.

the article never says if she was on a sandbar or not, but one way or another, its pretty scary... and i definitely agree with you that she was lucky.

Stupid hurricanes. When my mom was here (in Ft. Laud) I found jellyfish on the sand by the water. JELLYFISH. In the middle of Summer! Kev was tripped out when I brought one home (they looked like eggs, not jellyfish). They are out in winter, cold waters. I mentioned that there were spurts of cool water while we were swimming. He blamed that and the jellyfish on the hurricane from the weekend before. I'll blame the sharks for that too. Although bloody's prolli right about bull sharks. People don't realize that bull sharks are like, everywhere, salt water, freshwater, no difference to them.
