So it turns out that I can't graduate in the spring unless I take a class I have literally no interest in. I mean, no interest. See, I've only three classes left to go before I finish and of them, I'm signed up for two next semester. These two are both history courses, on on the medieval Middle East and the other on the ancient Mediterranean. ( Read more... )

You're still a freshman, right? On the plus side, there are honestly far more interesting classes that become available later on - the freshman stuff I took was almost universally awful (the exception being my history professor, who was awesome).

If I do the duel major thing, I'd be able to avoid the boring RS course, but I'd have to take one on American History as a degree requirement. American History is mindnumbingly boring to me. This is the major thing holding me back at the moment.

d'you realize how much I'd love to major in dueling? Sword dueling, for preference, though the Hamilton/Burr pistol dueling was kinda nifty as well. Sword dueling so I could go "Ah, but I am not right handed!"
