time for a long overdue new orleans entry...
cafe au lait & beignets at cafe du monde
cafe du monde
plaza d armas in the french quarter
southern moss & oaks
a plantation house in the upscale garden district
skulls in the voodoo museum
an old 'junkshop' off of magazine avenue... that's me in the mirror!
gators! i ate some of those... they're not bad in gumbo!
the mississippi river
the saturday mask market
balconies in the french quarter
some guy collecting beads from the trees
one of the city's older cemeteries... all the tombs are raised, latin style... plus when coffins are buried in the ground they tend to pop up during floods (new orleans is below sea level)... they're called poppers and no one wants one on their doorstep
tomb flowers
a crumbling tomb, probably from the early 1800's
the seattle float at the superbowl sunday parade!
these guys were all over bourbon street, im sure they saw more boobs than anyone else
the trash on bourbon street, in some areas in piles MUCH higher than this... i saw some guy passed out on top of one of the larger piles, i guess it was the softest place to land?
the crossdresser mc at the bourbon street awards... i wish i had his/her legs!
me on mardi gras day... too bad i was too hungover to drink that margarita
yes, there were boobs, there were lots of them
i had this many beads and more at the end of it all
