I'm trying to get a major piece done before getting job market stuff out, too.

I do, but it's two years old and sounds inexperienced and naive, in a number of ways. It's due for an overhaul, just like the research interests statement was. People change, and I've changed a lot as a teacher. I've got a lot of the same ideas but I express them a lot differently now, and I've got examples from classes that I've taught rather than just ones I've TA'd.

Makes sense. I don't even have one at this point. Too much variety makes it hard to narrow down.
