I certainly wouldn't mind a return the the subtle charm of Sean Connery, but for what it's worth, I'd actually say the Craig version is the closest to Ian Fleming's original vision of Bond - "ironical, brutal, and cold". Hopefully Craig'll grow into the role some more in the next films (he certainly has the acting chops for it) but in any case, they seem to be making an effort with this film which had been sadly lacking from the more recent ones. I mean, sure, Brosnan wore a tuxedo quite well, and he could be smooth, but I don't think I'd say I ever really saw him as James Bond. Having said that, Goldeneye was one of the best Bond films. :D
