I've been in debt for nearly four years -- rarely "broke" as such but sometimes skirting near the edge of my steadily-increasing credit limit. Of course, the best one is when that student loan is finally gone and you don't owe anybody a thing.

It really does! I'd gotten so used to the debt that I just became complacement about the whole issue - but now I'm actually on my way to solvency, I find myself just spontaneously checking my balance for the fun of it, haha. :D

I'd never really felt 'connected' to my student loan before.. now I'm looking forward to being free of it. Although by that time I'll hopefully be on a wage where the minimal payments they ask for are fairly irrelevant anyway!

Debt really sticks in my craw. I'm almost paid up on one of my cards. $90 left on a $2000 deficit. Of course, that only accounts for about a quarter of my total debt. Getting there...
