You could be Nyarlathotep. I should know. And actually, the definition above is incorrect. Nyarlathotep is not the disembodied ego of Azathoth, the Nuclear Chaos, but instead the "soul and messenger of the Outer Gods", which includes Azathoth, Hastur, Yog-sothoth, etc.

Nyarlathotep IS considered to be a "prankster" among the Mythos, giving gifts that eventually cause the downfall and corruption of those who receive them. He will be directly responsible for bringing about the End Times and will herald when the Stars Become Right.....my particular favorite incarnations of the deity are the Black Pharoah and the Black Man With A Horn [also known as Shugoran and worshipped by the Tcho-Tcho People].
