If you wanted to stick with the now-abandoned theme for the subject of this entry, it could be "It's my own damn fault". Or, "Hell, it could be my fault." Possibly.
However, I was sufficiently amused by the one version I did hear. I can't help but sing it under my breath whenever I hear the melody.
