Last week I completed my project to talk with MCTC, AI, and Augsburg's academic advising department. By the end of the week I mentally put together a plan to continue at Augsburg, but to take some number of classes at MCTC to save some money. I then applied to MCTC, and wrote letters to the credit transfer person at Augsburg to inquire about the

As an MCTC student, I can tell you that everything they accept as prior credit classes should be allowed to transfer to other classes in the MNSCU system. Whether or not they'll transfer within programs is a different story. I'd suggest talking to an advisor about how that works.

Augburg isn't a MNSCU school. There are a limited number of classes that easily transfer from MCTC to Augburg, and sadly photography isn't one of them.

Is it your goal to finish your school work at Augsburg? You may have to bite the bullet and just take all the classes there, then. Otherwise, I'd suggest seeing if there are other schools within the MNSCU system that will take your earned credits and work with you more flexibly.

It's more a university than MCTC. I'd guess easier to transfer credits to/from.

Depending on the professor of the intro to acting class I would be leery. Aliera and I took that course at MCTC and it was dreadful. Do you know who is teaching it? It is entirely possible it's been long enough our prof retired or something.
