Making mistakes and needing to ask questions are the hallmarks of learning. If we do neither of those, we are not learning, we already know. You are growing and expanding and starting a path to mastery. It's a good thing, and sooooo much better than blithely careening on in a state of surety, never seeing how many questions there are

When I was a young teacher a principal told me that if I ever figured out what I was doing I would be really good. I never was sure if I had figured it out or not, but I never stopped asking questions of those with more experience. I think you have good instincts and a sincere desire to help people. That will get you through the hard days and will stop you from ever becoming complacent.
