But something annoyed me on the 8th grade science question:

"What's the charge of a neuron?"
a.1+
b.0
c.1-
d.e-

This is foolish. A neuron is a cell in your nervous system with a base in either the brain or the spinal chord with axons that send impulses to the base and dendrites tht send impulses away. They don't have one set charge... They run on a chain of ions. They carry positive, negative, and neutral charges.
A neutron, on the other hand, is a subatomic particle in the nucleus with a ZERO charge, which separates the protons just so that the positive charges won't repel each other too much, causing the nucleus to fall apart.
I figured that they meant NEUTRON, so I answered "0", and got the question wrong. I think this person thinks that neutrons have a 1- charge, which is a common misconseption (and also DEAD WRONG. WRONG AS EATING ICE CREAM WITH KETCHUP. It's just... WRONG).
