I went up on stage last night at the West End Comedy Theatre. It did not go well, but I learned quite a bit

To recap my previous experience doing this, I was up on stage twice in Seattle at the Comedy Underground, over a year ago. My first experience taught me that learning the set as if it were a monologue and trying to remember everything

Hey, sorry to hear you tanked, but...wow, man, good for you! What a great attitude! I can't wait until we start hearing stories of the awesome gigs you're getting, and when you start getting more comfortable on stage and fucking with hecklers and stuff. You'll get there, I bet. Most people would have been discouraged already, so keep in mind you've already beat like 99% of the people that try it.

Thanks man. The Dallas Comedy Festival is taking up the next two weeks so no open mic, but I will be ready in three weeks to get up there and perform once again for some very bright lights and scattered anonymous laughing.
