Ya... I don't have much work that's ready for the internet and I have less time with each passing week. I'm going to ration them out like candy and hope I'll have more by the time I'm done...

Thanks! :)

In the Russian villages many such structures... It associates with grief and emptiness. Forces to reflect on the worst... :(

That's interesting. Do you know why this is done to structures?

If I have correctly understood your question... That it occurs because of demographic crisis and poverty of people.

No, I meant do you know why people take the roof off of structures and set it on the ground? To me, this seems a strange thing to do.

I'm sorry if I confused you!

Thanks! I really ought to do another wall-hanging. I have the fabric for it, just not the time. :)

I'm switching over to flickr.com now, as deviantart.com doesn't suite my needs as well. Do you have a flickr account?

no, but I used to have an account in artconspiracy.com (it was rubbish) I don't put my work up anymore because of copyright issues --except for the ones on my journal :)

Well, when your stuff is as good as YOURS is then you would definitely have to worry about. Sometimes I'm lucky to suck. :)

I just browsed through your flickr album: AMAZING, I just love the one inside the Tour Eiffel

Aww! You're too kind. :)

I love that Tour Eiffel one too. Truth be told, I stuck my camera over something I couldn't see over and took a bunch of pictures and got some amazing shots like that. But, it's really illegal for them to be online if I'm not paying a royalty. Oops!

I like black and white photography- presonally, to look at and for my own work. Your photo is very nice, it's somber and quiet. I really like the dark shadows beneatht the roof, I half expect someone to be looking out at me, yet there ins't. Very nice, indeed.

Thank you very much! It was actually a color photograph that I just used the simple convert to black and white feature on PS and then played with contrast. Now that I know more about channel mixing, I'm going to redo it. :)
