With everything going on, Drew had severely neglected his studies. It wasn't until earlier that morning in class that he realized how far behind he actually was. Two of his professors had announced the quick approaching deadlines for their papers. Drew had felt so confident with an entire month to research and write. But, apparently, three weeks ( Read more... )

Mandy was a busy bee these past few days. She had so much homework to work on and she hadn't even started working on her Ancient Runes essay. They were talking about many of the historical runes around Scotland and she was excited to find out what really was the story behind Stonehenge. After all who else could have done it but wizards?

She was walking down the aisles of the library pulling off books that were of interest until she couldn't hold anymore. She was such a nerd. She decided this would have to do and find a table to sit at and buckle down. She happened to see a familiar looking boy sitting at a big table and smiled, well this could be fun. She walked over and plopped her books down across from him, "Well hello there handsome."

Drew almost didn't register her presence. He was so focused and tired at this time. But after a moment he looked up and smiled.

"Finally, somebody to keep me company," he said, relieved. This isolation, even after just a few hours, was like torture.

She laughed, "That bad huh?" She sat down and started organizing her books in order of importance and how quickly she could go through them. She then pulled out some parchment and a quill before turning back to her boyfriend. Boyfriend, that still sounded totally weird to her, especially after Terry brought up how crazy it was that it wasn't a Slytherin or Ravenclaw. It still blew her mind. She wasn't ever the boyfriend type, but she was willing to make it work with Drew, she was certain of that.

She smiled at him, "What are you working on?"

Drew watched in awe as Mandy organized her things. He was almost ashamed of his disheveled work station and started to straighten up just a bit.

"Transfigs," he said, reaching for another book. It was even bigger than the one he had just went through.

Harper had been completely side tracked with Quidditch. He felt it his duty to keep his performance up, even when he was warming benches, for Draco and the whole Slytherin team.

'If only I could keep and even balance while flying faster after the snitch' he thought to himself as his silently entered the library.

Snapping his head to the left he then remembered his transfiguration essay that was soon due. Daniel pulled back an empty chair and slithered deep down into the seat.

Picking up a free quill he started to tap nervously on the empty piece of parchment.
