He chuckled, his eyes traveling over the writing, at Drew's quip.
Without even bothering to send a return letter, Jonah grabbed a six pack of ale out of the refrigerator and stepped into the Floo.
"Just how lonely are you that you're inviting me over for dinner?" he asked, barely out of the fireplace.

"Really bloody lonely," he assured him, running his fingers through his shaggy brown hair. Even though he worked at the ministry, he refused to cut it short or comb it to the side.

He handed Drew a bottle before plopping down.
"Suppose we ought to find you some friends, then," he teased.
He pulled a bottle opener from the keychain in his pocket and popped off the lid, handing it over to Drew.
"Where's Terry?"

The truth it was strange not seeing Jonah nearly every day. The cousins had always been close growing up and then became nearly inseparable being sorted into Gryffindor at the same time. He was more like a brother to Drew than anything else. Especially after his father had passed away as his Uncle Sebastian helped his sister pick up the pieces, it was Marlow and Jonah that held up Andrew.
"Terry is probably spending the night with Daphne, again," he told him. Drew took a long sip of his beer. "He's hardly ever here at all. It's no wonder I'm starved for attention."
