Tuesday was over. Considering that he had off the day before for the big Quidditch Opening Match, it felt more like a Monday. That was painfully. The throbbing headache from his hangover only made the day drag on longer than usual. He kept getting up for extra cups of coffee which earned him a few strange looks from one of his supervisors

Seeing Drew, however, slowed her down, softened her step.
She adjusted her bag on her shoulder, cradling her winter in her arm as she stopped. There was something refreshing about seeing Drew- something easy and calm. She couldn't help but smile, forcing the tough persona out and replacing it with the one she liked the best- the real her.
"Drew, hi-" she said, tilting her head slightly as she prepared to apologize. "If I'd had the chance, I would have rang you- it's been an interesting day, I'm afraid-"

But that didn't stop him from nodding understandingly, blue eyes meeting her's.
"Well, it looks like you could use a break. Are you free now?" he asked, definitely sounding as hopeful as he was.

But, as he spoke, it was impossible not to miss the tone of his voice and she faltered.
"I think I could make time for you," she said finally, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "Absolutely."

It was true that Drew could be a bit of a push over (especially when it came to Jemma) but he was standing firm on this one. The girl needed to take a break.
"How many times did I find you in the library during finals, not even realizing the sun had come up?"
