in highschool this nurse gave me this pampthlet about meningitus and it said how "suzy" woke up one morning thinking she had the flu and by night all 4 of her limbs were amputated to save her life... and she was on constant meds to prevent seizuring.... basically scared the crap outta me

...and both stepford movies were filmed near me...

target has a no-solicitation rule, salvation army used to be the only exception, but this year they decided to enforce the rule entirely.

there used to be a dude at the mall in hadley (amherst) who wouldn't ring a bell, he'd play jazzy music on drums, chimes, and bells. now the only people there are dumb college girls who are most likely doing community service for their underage possession charge at the last frat ripper. go christmas.

that's what i figured about target. how can the people making these decisions live with themselves? or how about the guy who owned the shopping plaza in marlboro where my favorite salvy was who shut it down so that staples could move in. oh wait, staples didn't move in, because the guy shut the salvy down preemptively before he had any deal with staples.

side paradigm: whenever i type "salvy," i inevitably type "slavy." freudian slip much?

i can't make any promises on which would be better. they are pretty weird shows, as far as who we're playing with. but we've played at both places and i can say both are pretty nice spaces to have shows. take your pick, if you can make it out to either, it'd be rad. rad, ya hear?

I got released from the hospital today with strict orders to lay on the couch for like, a solid week. I'm going to miss the camp reunion but I should still be coming up to MA shortly before or shortly after new years. So you'll get your cymbals, you damn hippie.
