My best friend was just told her dad has cancer of the liver. One specialist thinks it started somewhere else and spread to his liver, the other thinks it started in the liver and that they might be able to get it out - but it's on both sides. I do pray for Drew's friend, that the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard her heart and her mind in Christ Jesus.

I pray for her dad, that the healing touch of the Great Physician will bring healing, strength, and peace.

I pray for the medical professionals, that they will have guidance, wisdom, and anointed skill as they treat her dad.

I pray for Drew and other friends to take time to be there for her friend -- and not to grow weary in so doing if the process takes a long time.

I pray for everyone involved, that God will tend to them like a Shepherd, that He will gather each one up into His arms and carry them all close to His heart.
