Yay! Benefits, here we come!

We got a phone call today at 10am. Matthew got the job he was trying for and he starts Oct. 20 in Chalk River. And then there's the seven weeks of training after the new year. Granted, this job is still conditional, based on his successful completion of the training, but we don't think that will be an issue; he's already got his security

Woohoo! Drew, I'm so happy for you (and Matthew and Heather). :)
And, I know I've been nowhere to be found lately, and I'm sorry. School, work, new-house-hunting, contending with the monstrous overgrowth of mold in our current house... arggh. Plus I've started a Tolkien discussion group at the college, AND am getting involved in the school paper (it desperately needs a proofreader ... *shudder*)

But when I saw this, I just had to say HURRAH! And congratulations! :D
