and now you see why im a comp gamer! lol! well, until bill gates manages to fuck that up for everyone. i just dont know if im going to slap down that kind of cheese for a console when my ps2 works just fine ya know? and ive actually been considering a 360. i found it kind of cheesy that our old ps2 went defunct right around the time the slim came out. its a conspiracy i tells ya! it tried to eat its own lense...some messed up shit!anyway, yeah.. the exclusiveness (is that a word lol) of games is an ignorant thing to get all worked up about. as long as I can play it im happy, i could care less about the prepube down the street with an xbox. *shrugs* (the icon totally applies to all those whining emo's hell bent on ruining it for the rest of us...lol)
I love the Wii, it's proof that gamers don't want high-def evil graphics of the other two overpriced monstrosities... they want something that's fun to play...
And I recently had a debate with a 360-headed moron who said that 360 was the ultimate... to which I replied "well... 10 million sales over 15 months as opposed to 5 million sales over 4 months... and a hugely high demand item most experts say that 360 will be outselling worldwide totals of the 360 in less than 5 months so that leaves them about 6 months to completely smash the 360 in sales"
He didn't like that point... nor did he like the point that neither 360 or PS3 have any launch titles that have the popularity of Legend of Zelda {which is nearing the 3 million mark for sales}
I've started avoiding a lot of the main stream news sites that report on gaming news because of all the ranting back and forth. Most of the time it's between zealots of one system or another trying to prove they put their money on the right system.
I am a gamer for fucks sake and I don't care what system the game comes out on as long as it's a decent game.. It doesn't even have to be a great game. Chances are though, if its a multi-platform game then it'll be for the 360. I'm rather disappointed in the Wii and the PS3 thus far.
