Yeah, he does inspire me to drop a buck fifty from time to time. But this will probably be the last time outside of the occasional "GAH!! JACKASS!!" reaction.

Actually, there was a mod like that for Half Life 2, or something a couple of years ago. Caused a big froofarau. Basically, the whole thing was He said he'd donate 10 grand to a charity of the then Pres. of the ESRB's choice if someone made a game featuring him killing the staff of Take Two interactive. Someone did, and he of course reneged, saying he was being ironic. Of course, the guys over at Penny Arcade donated to a charity in Thompson's name and he responded by trying to get the FBI to arrest them because they were trying to extort him. Simplified, but that's basically it. Yeah, I actually think he waved bye bye to sanity long ago.
