I'm considering end the love affair with livejournal. For a time it was a great resource for my thoughts and emotions. It was also a very convient way to connect with people. However it seems to me most people have moved to either Facebook (yay!) or Myspace (boo). I've found that Facebook has a wide array of well thought of features that could ( Read more... )

I pretty much agree, I never use LJ anymore, with Twitter and Facebook to cover all ends of the social-update scene. Brief posts become tweets, long posts are Note material. Ah well. So long LJ, you served your purpose for a while.

I hardly update my facebook or myspace. LJ is easier to lurk and check for me. But now that loudtwitter is down, my LJ is bare. Oh well, friend me on FB!

Why did Juli pop up when I joined but not you? I call shenanigans!

Anyway, it's pretty much the same for me... I really only use LJ to follow the communities I'm in, since Facebook is actually tolerable compared to MySpace.

Facebook is great for a quick hit, but I still intend to keep my long form stuff here on LJ.
