Life Update #8 - Vomitting cats and fun days out

I had another fun weekend. On Saturday we went out for a birthday meal for my BF's brother. He booked a table at a nice country pub about half an hour from where we leave. It was really nice, I had spicy, breaded chicken wings for a starter (which turned out to be a bit of a mistake because it was really messy to eat, especially in front of others

wisdom teeth is usually a pretty easy operation providing the teeth aren't impacted or on a weird angle. i had all four of mine taken out back in my mid-20s... took about 45 minutes, and i was high as a kite for the next day. good times.

Yeah that’s what I keep telling him, he just hates hospitals and is convinced they are going to put him under and mess with him lol

Yep that describes my cat exactly! Glad I'm not the only one who shares that opinion on the dentists lol :)

I remember a movie with Dustin Hoffman called the Marathon Man in which this war criminal is a dentist and it's pretty clear he WANTS and WILL torture Hoffman in the dentist chair with all kinds of tools. And he would always say " DOES IT HURT?"

Ugh cats and vomiting! Normally it's nothing to worry about, but they always seem to pick a moment like when you've just finished cleaning.

I hate dental work too and I'm a huge chickenshit. I only go if something hurts, then ask mine to give me at least two shots before I'll even let him touch a drill. Fortunately he humors me and does (though I suspect he fills the syringe with water the second time - haha). I had all four wisdom teeth yanked at once, it really isn't a major thing. And you get good meds! ;)

Lol I couldn’t resist taking his picture in that position, cats have no shame do they! He's been fine since so I'm not too worried. Dentists just suck lol :)

Awww, your cat is so cute! I LOVE cats! We can't have any now because my husband is severely allergic, and I do miss them!

Ah and so is my cat Icarus. It's part of their job to have such a paradoxical nature. Being both annoying and adorable simultaneously.

Good to hear you enjoyed your day out with your bf and his brother :) I always try to order something I don't wanna cook or just can't cook at home/at all, makes it more enjoyable to me.

Yeah he's been fine all weekend so I think it was nothing serious. That's a good idea with restaurant choices :)
