So the good weather has finally come... only apparently to vanish again by Thursday. Typical British weather! We made the most of it though this weekend and spent the day at a place called Hawkstone Park. Its a big park near Shrewsbury full of caves, monuments, views and the like. We took the dog who loved being out and about even if she had to

I love their reading challenge. I set my goal t 52 and at 43 or 44 I think, so no worries about making it this year. I didn't last year.

Cute puppy! I had a spaniel/shetie mix, Travis, who looked a lot like your dog, only he had the sheltie white on his nose.

You must be having nicer weather than we are in the states. Currently undergoing 95F/35C with an heat index of 100F/38C. Had a 113F/45C heat index yesterday. So I'm surprised that we still have green grass around here and not dying in the heat.
Reading does seem to inspire writing.
I'm close to 50 books read currently, myself. Usually I'm inching closer to 80 books by August. But then again, my goal of reading 100 books a year is a general goal not a set one for me.
So nice to see the goals being checked off, ain't it? And seeing most of them or all of them checked off at the end of the year/time endpoint.
