So I watched the first part of the X Factor tonight/last night. Out of curiosity, I told myself. I haven't watched any of it for years, but I wanted to see the kind of people that come up in the initial auditions. I thought back to my Pop Idol audition (oh yeah, I did a Pop Idol audition) and I wondered if I'd try again now. My problem back then

You did Pop Idol? XD One of our barmaids auditioned for the X Factor this year. She's got a fairly good voice, but yeah, you have to be either phenomenal or abysmal on X Factor (ideally with inflated egos in both).

People tell me I'm good at singing when I bust out my karaoke. The drawback is two things: a) I know I'm fairly dreadful, and b) the people who tell me it are frequently not, y'know, sober at the time.

Oh, and I normally sing Gwen XD Just because me mum likes it more than anything!
