Pay is crap and the job itself sucks; but if you want a job fast, apply to Convergys. Full pay during training and extremely non-discriminating so long as you can talk on the phone.

I kinda know the guys that work at Bang-on - I've made a couple of t-shirts with them - and they seem pretty cool. I don't think they'd discriminate against you for not listening to the right bands, anyways.
