Hey! I could add some info about dancing in Russia, cause i'm one of those "poor russian boys" :)
I was at those disco, so I can prove, that there were really hot! We bought a lot of cold water, but that wasn't enough!
I don't know why Sarah thought that it was techno? It was russian club-music, which is very popular among russian parties.
Slow dance is a obligatory part of any russian party (cause everyone should take a break).
About 4th July. We have decided to show respect to 4 July, so we sang songs
and congratulated all on a holiday. And by the way Russian people loves holidays very much - just give us an occasion and how to celebrate - we shall think up :)

hehe emily was joking about the "poor russian boys" thing. im kinda notorious at school for my dancing. and yea, to americans, that was techno. we dont really know the difference. and we like our big groups of music that include a lot of little bits (techno, rock, rap, pop). and yea, american teens believe in the whole "if theres something to celebrate, itll be a party" idea. not so much our parents, but o well.
