Because of my layoff I no longer have a fantasy football league. Does anyone have a league with an open spot or is interested in starting one? Please let me know

I'd like to get you into the PHS league, as it is currently at nine teams. I'm not sure how that'll play out.

I talked to Ian a week or so ago. He's going to be working a lot of Sundays. He'll be able to make some games but not others. Apparently Erik will hosting his old crew every week at casa de hildebrandt. I imagine we'd be welcome, but I'm not too keen on driving to Gaithersburg. At least not EVERY week. Haven't talked to Lou yet.

Very good. The last half hour is basically what a Half-Life movie would look like. Not really a spoiler since it in the trailer, but probably the first truly awesome non-animated, mech vs. everything else fight in a movie. And I hope a good game studio makes a decent FPS out of it, just based on the weapons.

Which is sad, because the director was supposed to direct a $200 million version of Halo, but because he was an unknown, it died. So Peter Jackson took the guy aside, and was like "sorry your dreams are crushed. Here is $30 million. Make something awesome."

The sad thing is, I think he'd have managed to pull it off, so fingers crossed that they give it back to him.
