The idea that there exists the one perfect person, and only one, to which every soul is driven to find was given to the world by the same people who invented the orgy. Only one of these two ideas really permeated the universal cultural membrane and became the standard for the next two millenia plus. Perhaps in a prelude to the Betamax versus VHS

I like the first half better, but you know how my brain turns off when people start talking mythology. I'm interested to see where this goes.
