Digital distribution may be the greatest thing ever. It handily beats sliced bread. No waiting for delivery or seeing if the store has it in stock. I went back and they gave me the game. Its amazing how fast a service you can get when loudly proclaiming, "Hi I was just here ten minutes ago and bought X, and when I opened it the game was not inside. Where the fuck is the game I bought?" when there are other customers in the store.

My biggest problem with digital distribution is the fact that the game is bound to your account. You can't loan it out to a friend, you can't sell it, and you can't buy it used.

But I do like the discounts Valve has been offering for L4D2. Especially the discount for buying 4 copies at once. A bunch of my friends are planning to get the game, but we play on the 360, and there are no bundle packs for that.

You might not be able to buy it used, but Valve does do discount weekends where games can be up to 50% off.

Yeah it sucks when you play on one platform and your friends play on another. If you get it for PC let me know what your steam account is so we can get our game on.
