Not entirely sure, but my father in law got hit by it too. Our best guess is that Kit and Jeff's baby was sick and contagious... but if that were the case then more people should have gotten sick.

Don't be so sure - I could be next, although I really really hope not.

I think it was all the same thing, especially since you and my dad got sick at almost the same time, and got fevers at almost the same time. Babies are very dangerous!
