If someone in your current game preordered L4D2, baseball bats become available for everyone, and they are quite prolific. Frying pans and katanas are my favorite, though. (Pans probably the shortest range but the best potential DPS [excepting the chainsaw] and clang satisfyingly, and katanas seem to have the best reach.) Melee weapons also make recovering from getting boomed easier, because you're not shooting willy-nilly and attacking with them doesn't trigger the fatigue

you just melee the riot police then shoot. I've never had an incident where I needed to set the CEDA hazmat guys on fire. Its really just the clowns that get the job done as uncommon.

Jockeys can fuck your shit up and in some areas insta-kill.

They do that mostly through the first part of dead center, and seem to get the names down as the game progresses.

I've heard them use the nicknames (rarely) in other campaigns.

Jockeys can fuck your shit up, but just like smokers and hunters it works best if you grab a survivor that's away from the group. Also, survivors usually catch the edge if you walk them off a death drop. Chargers, on the other hand, can take on a close group and fuck all their shit up, and even carry one survivor off a death drop.

It is awesome, but you will never get the full experience unless you're willing to play online. That's the only way to play as the zombies.

But if you're willing to play, we (the annapolis gamers and I) usually get a game going between 10-10:30 most nights.
