Okay, so I need to get a pair of flip flops now, since it's getting warmer, and it's the closest thing I can get to not wearing shoes all summer. I was on the metro this morning and stood next to girls that were wearing black flip flops twice - going to work

Was surprised that was appropriate work attire - and also surprise that they would go into rush hour busy city streets with almost no protection on their feet
