After finally actually seeing and using a G1 phone. I want one. Massively want one. My coworker was showing me all the apps they have and everything they've been doing with it and it just looks so much cooler than my current phone

The G1 looks cool. I'm pretty happy with my iPhone, but I really like the more open idea of the G1. if you get one, be sure to let us know how you like it.

I got one! I'll do a full write-up in probably a week or so but so far I really like it. So slick!

It only cost you $180? Seriously? NICE! Did you have to do anything special to get that? I get to go after pay-day to change up the contract and such. (My fiance's sister is on our family plan and is upgrading to a Sidekick so since we'll have to make changes and stuff, here's hoping for a discount! We're not at the end of the contract period, though.)

Oooh, yea. I kinda figured that was it. Hopefully I get the $50 off the purchase price for signing up for another 2 years with them. I see that it's on the site as an option. I just would rather walk out with new hotness and squee like a tard at the mall.
