I really enjoyed this story. I liked following Sam as he figured everything out and rescued Dean and Cas. Nice image of smashing frozen points to get Cas out. I liked Lucifer's sacrifice at the end too. I haven't watched the second half of last season but this seems like it would have been a good way for it to go. Great piece of writing.
I actually started writing this right after 11x16, so it basically was my own version of how s11 could go. It was interesting watching what actually happened.
Thoroughly enjoyed the story. Stayed up way too late last night and probably be a little late to work today, but it was worth it. I needed a nice refreshing story, and I do love HEAs. I liked Lucifer sacrificing himself, that was a nice touch, and you captured the cees really well. Excellent job and thanks for the lovely tale!
Thank you!! (I'm glad my story was worth it, but I hope you weren't too tired!) I figured that Lucifer has his reasons for everything, even being the literal devil, and that maybe with his Dad back, he could finally have a purpose (even if that purpose was dying to save the world he hated, just because his Father asked him to).
