I think it also depends on the context. When I'm at work, I'm not shy at all - There's things I need to do and accomplish, and I have no sense of shyness. It's outside of that setting, when I have to rely on my own self to continue conversations that nothing ever seems to come easy for me. *shrug* So yeah, if I have a sense of purpose of what I'm supposed to be doing - no problem.
