Again months seem to have passed... and I never mean to be quite so drifty and vague... I mean, not QUITE so drifty and vague... I phoned Lily this evening and may go to see her soon when she sings at The Barbican, or else when she sings at a little church in Haslemere... it might be her birthday by the time I see her... Oh, my love. Yes, drifty. How I understand. Dearest, I tried to send you an e-mail last week and I just found out today that it never made it to you. Have you ceased to commune on such channels? At any rate, I was going to tell you that...oh well, I have so much to tell you. You shall be receiving a nice sizable package as soon as I can get finished. Not too long now, I should hope. It is, alas, once again a conglomerate of all the things I have meant to send in the past..oh, way too long, but of course, I have my own difficulties with organization and the like. I have, however, missed you dearly even now, and think of you often and fondly. Soon.

I will look forward to hearing from you... of course... I am glad you haven't disappeared altogether. I expect I have done quite a lot since I saw you but mostly my little quiet things... you haven't missed any very great adventures... we may be moving soon but nothing is arranged yet... but do make sure you keep in touch with me so as I have an up to date address. I will have to let you know where I will be going as soon as I know. The main idea is to live in an older house, a Victorian house with pretty features and more rooms to fill with books and things!!! A Study of my own and more walls on which to hang pictures!
The old days of Gossips seem so very long ago now...
