I was just sitting here and I realized I haven't posted in a while. I'm waiting around for Matt to get home. He went to the bars with a bunch of co-workers who got fired today. Things are good. Work is going well and the 5th graders are on a field trip so I have 50 extra minutes this morning to do whatever. Matt and I went to chicago this weekend to meet up with his family. I love my job! :) Students are amazing, and they seem to be excited about me/my room/my turtles/Spanish...which means I'm doing my job right. My number one goal for teaching Spanish is to get the students excited about learning the language so they will continue with Spanish after elementary school and not switch to French or Japanese ( Read more... )

School is going great. The first two days went really well and I'm about to start the third. The students are so well behaved! Its so nice because I only see them for 25 minutes each and I don't have time to discipline. I need to bring my camera in to take pictures.
