HECK, I HAVE NO IDEA IF THE DAMN THING'S A BOY OR A GIRL, SO I HAVE NO IDEA HOW A SEQUEL WOULD PLAY OUT. BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN I'D REQUIRE A BRAIN TO WRITE IT, LET ALONE YOU NEEDING ONE TO READ IT!

IT GREW IN A CABBAGE-PATCH

Um... as far as I thought it up, the mother's just some woman he had a one-night stand with. (If he's with Smoker - let's say he is - then their relationship's a recent thing.)

Anyway, about nine months later, Ace happens to be back at this island for some reason, and it turns out the mother's dead/doesn't want it/whatever, and Ace has basically had the baby shoved onto him. I dunno, maybe she's a prostitute, or a maid or something. Beats me.

The mother won't turn up again. This was just meant to be a cracky 'what if Ace is suddnely forced into unexpected fatherhood' drabble, but I suddenly want to write a sequel. XD

AND IT'S STILL NOT APPEARING IN MY INBOX.
